The first of all, sorry for write in English, I am studying French but still is too soon to try to write.

Tirso spoke to us that had opened this post in BDgest. It was a great surprise!!!! Everybody know about your website, and we come here several times looking for information about BD.

Thank you very much for the interest in our work, this one is our first book in France and we are very happy!

I am Jose Robledo the scénariste of ken games, and the dessinateur is Marcial Toledano, I suppose that he will register soon to say “hi”.

If you want (and it’s not important for you that I write in English, I don’t have problems reading French) I can upload sketches and pages of ken games and the rest of our work. Specially things you can’t see in the blog

To begin I was thinking upload a short history with which we present the project to Dargaud. It’s in French, but the translation is ours and maybe will be a wrong.

Our idea was to do a few test-pages where you can read too the plot of the project, and you can see the environment of the history.

This pages was two year ago, and too many things changes for them to now, the dessin of Toledano now is more realistic, you can verify it seeing some pages of the volume 2 still without the texts.

They're perfect, in my screen!
Robledo et Toledano, escenariste et dessineux respectivement, sont sans hésiter, les jeunes artistes les plus prometeux (avec Raule et roger, auteurs de jazz maynard, chez Dargaud aussi), du registre réaliste en Espagne. Un realisme different, à la fois classique et impregné d'influences, avec un régard nouveau et "fresh".
Pour avoir suivi la gestation de ce Ken Games qui sort maintenant, je peux dire qu'on est devant deux auteurs qui feront, sans doute, sa marque....
J'ai vraiment hâte de lire vos commentaires sur le premier bouquin.
Moi, je suis fan...

C'est fou la différence entre les graphismes du tome 1 et 2, quelle progression

N'empêche, dans le premier volume, c'est un dessin très typé qui pourrait coller au dessinateur avec un style bien précis qui ne ressemble à aucun autre, ceux du second opus rentrent davantage dans les habitudes actuelles....

Nike Wayne, Toledano works with too many styles, ken games pass for many different styles. Originally it was more “cartoon” but after became more “realistic” because in this style he feels more comfortable.

But we like very much the final style of the album, maybe could be more “conventional” but we think that is the best for tell the story.
