Une info concernant une très importante collection d'originaux de EC Comics, mais aussi de strips de Caniff et Wunder qui est partie en fumée:

"Don Gray Lineberger lost his life to smoke inhalation that consumed his home in Valdosta, Georgia on Sunday, December 5th, 2010. He was 71 years old and had been an original EC Fan-Addict (#18933) who collected mostly EC comics and related memorabilia for most of his life. That fire not only took the life of Don, but took a lot of nice EC art and other miscellaneous art with it and becomes the most tragic event of lost life and comic art in the history of Comic's Fandom that I know of.

His collection included EC comic books of which he had a complete New Trend, New Direction and Picto Fiction collection and original art that he had bought from the Russ Cochran EC art auctions held during the 1980s ... He also loved and collected the art of George Wunder, and shortly after Wunder's death, purchased most of the art in his estate. This consisted of numerous paintings and over a thousand Terry and the Pirate dailies and Sunday page originals by the artist. Don owned a lot of Milton Caniff strip art too, but so far, we have no clue as to the number of originals or the dates."
